The Bibliometric Office provides support to the University’s administrative offices, Departments’ Directors and to the main boards and committees involved in research assessment with a particular focus on the productivity, impact, visibility and internationalization of Unimore’s academic publishing, either concerning single researchers, research groups or disciplinary areas (SSD, Aree CUN).
Bibliometric Data Processing
Percentage of faculty members passing the Italian ASN thresholds, number of publications in the last 5 years, etc.
THE BIBLIOMETRIC OFFICE GATHERS and processES ALL DATA CONCERNING bibliometric indicators REQUIRED by UNIMOre’s university evaluation board AND ALL THE OTHER INTERNAL ENTITIES DEALING WITH QUALITY ASSURANCE, SUPERVISION AND COURSES ACCREDITATION, IN COLLABORATION WITH THE OTHER RELEVANT OFFICES.
IT MOREOVER PROVIDES SUPPORT ON BIBLIOMETRIC DATA REQUIRED BY UNIMORE’S “INTERNATIONAL RANKINGS” WORKING GROUP.

IT DEFINED, JOINTLY WITH THE RESEARCH OBSERVATORY, A QUESTIONNAIRE ON ATTITUDES AND BEHAVIOURS OF RESEARCHERS WHILE DEALING WITH RESEARCH PUBLISHING ACTIVITIES AND ASSESSMENT.
IT WILL ESTABLISH, JOINTLY WITH THE quality assurance committee and the evaluation board OF THE UNIVERSITY, NEW TRAINING ACTIVITIES DEDICATED TO YOUNG AND NEWLY-HIRED RESEARCHERS ON BIBLIOMETRICS, OPEN ACCESS AND RESEARCH ASSESSMENT.
