CALL TO ACTION! genderm⊛re Reading Group
Have you ever wondered how a library reading group is created? How are books, articles, podcasts, and other materials chosen for discussion?
The genderm⊛re Centre invites young people aged 15 to 25 to co-create a young adult reading group alongside the Center’s librarians. Together, participants will decide the group’s name, guidelines, promotional strategies, and ways to engage more peers. They will also select books, podcasts, and TV series focused on gender-related topics to explore and discuss in a supportive and inclusive space.
Planning meetings will be held 1-2 times per month in the afternoons and will use participatory methods like brainstorming, role-playing, and design thinking. Everyone will have the chance to share their ideas and shape the project together..
