You can share the original version in any preprint repository at any time.

REQUIREMENTS:

» If accepted for publication, THE PUBLISHER RECOMMENDS INCLUDING THE DOI OF THE PUBLISHED VERSION.
» MUST NOT BE MODIFIED TO RESEMBLE THE PUBLISHED VERSION MORE CLOSELY.
» If you deposit the preprint on arXiv or RePEc, you can also upload the accepted manuscript.

Springer Nature

You can make the preprint of your article available in repositories, on your website or your institution’s website, and on non-commercial platforms dedicated to researchers at any time during the peer-review process.

REQUIREMENTS:

» YOU MUST PROVIDE details of the preprint, the DOI, and the license upon article submission.
» If it is published, you will need to include the references, DOI, and URL to the published version.
» You can use a CC license, but it must allow for sharing and reuse.

Springer also asks authors to adhere to their PRESS AND EMBARGO POLICIES.

ACS Journals

You can share your preprint on your personal website, in preprint repositories, subject-based repositories, those of your institution or third parties, and on conference websites dedicated to researchers.

REQUIREMENTS:

» It must be indicated that it is a version not subjected to peer review.
» You must have retained the rights to the preprint that allow publication. Therefore, you should not have released the preprint with an exclusive license.
» At the time of submission, you must indicate that you have deposited the original version in a preprint repository.
» If the article is accepted and published, you will need to specify the publisher’s copyright and the DOI of the published version.

You can deposit the original version of your article in non-commercial preprint repositories.

» You are required to cite your preprint in the manuscript submitted for acceptance.
