Since 2023, Unimore Libraries have been a member of LIBER (Ligue des Bibliothèques Européennes de Recherche). Since then, the Bibliometrics Office & Open Science Services has been an active member of two LIBER working groups and participates in the organization’s main events (annual conference and winter event).

The OA working group provides libraries with practical guidance for implementing open access to scientific publications. This includes aspects such as transformative agreements, diamond open access, and open access infrastructures.

The working group on Open Educational Resources (OER) will focus on measuring the impact of OER, assessing how developments in artificial intelligence influence OER, and promoting OER by encouraging their reuse within the academic community.
